With its close distance from one of the wonders of the world, the Corcovado National Park and Osa, Uvita is the perfect choice for those seeking a fine balance between nature and comfort.

There is a nice array of activities including horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, taking long walks along the beautiful deserted beach or just enjoying the sun, There is a lot to explore everywhere and you will see many beautiful exotic birds,including the red macaw. If you like boats, take a trip to the nearby small islands; Violines, Ballena and Cano. Because the Marino Ballena National Park is a protected area, fishing of any kind is strictly prohibited in Uvita, as is in the surrounding areas.
