Guachipelin Costa Rica Real Estate

Guachipelin belongs to the district of San Rafael, one of Escazu’s fastest areas as regard development and changes. While it is still possible to find old adobe houses, cows wandering on the side of the roads and farmers riding horses, it’s all high tech, avant garde architecture, with the most exclusive condos and shopping malls of the country.  It has a great choice of international schools and private clinics, and various supermarkets close by, without of course forgetting Multiplaza, the biggest mall of the country, that is just round the corner! Guachipelin is also notorious for its vibrant nightlife, especially in the area known as La Milla de Oro.

Guachipelin has views, and more views.  Like the rest of Escazu, Guachipelin had its legends and inspired many artists and writers. Escazu is the land of the witches, and many people still go there in search of potions for eternal love, health and wealth. Until only a decade or so, Guachipelin was pure country side, with just a few old houses and farms scattered about, live stock and horses; it carried an air of nostalgia that can still be found and that gives it such a special charm and appeal.

Guachipelin is also a direct link between Escazu and Santa Ana through Lindora and Pozos de Santa An;  many prefer to use this route instead of using the Autopista or what is known as the Old Road joining the two.

Guachipelin in short offers the best of two worlds, comfort and luxury with all necessary amenities in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. It still has the air of the old Costa Rica we all love so much.
