Rohrmoser is an upscale residential area in Costa Rica with expensive houses and condos, named after a German Developer who started this neighborhood that goes from the end of La Sabana park, and along the Rohrmoser Boulevard until reaching Plaza Mayor Shopping Center. 

Close by on the eastern side of Rohrmoser is the neighborhood of Pavas where the U.S. Embassy and lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops are located. Some of the most popular bars in Pavas are Tragaldabas, La Kabaña Classic and Long Horns.  From Rohrmoser one  can even take a taxi to downtown San Jose in just five minutes, of course traffic permitting.
