Playa Blanca

Real estate in Playa Blanca. It means white beach, is located 25 kms off Liberia in Guanacaste, going North towards Nicaragua. It is indeed a white sand beach, shinning and shimmering in the sunlight. The waves are gentle in Playa Blanca, not a surf beach, but one to play, swim, relax and let go!

The beach is not very large, just about one km long, and from there you can see Monte Barco Beach and Panama Beach. The picturesque cove of its setting gives it a unique atmosphere, that is serene and quiet, and a wonderful feeling of well being.

The sun is very much present in this part of the country and you may expect between 11 to 12 hours of sunshine a day with a maximum temperature of 36°C during the dry season, from December to April, and an average of 27.7°C during the rest of the year.

It may rain heavily during the rainy season, but only for a very short time! Guanacaste is dry, or drier, and the drought is typical of this part of the country with its stunning brownish landscape giving way to grassland with swollen-thorn acacia, wild cotton, gorgeous mayflower and the occasional cacti. The gentle sea breeze is magical over the crystal clear warm sea and the brilliant white sand.

Playa Blanca is located within a delightful private reserve; clean, serene, and totally safe, with limited access to give you total  privacy and peace.

Tropical birds, monkeys, iguanas, and wild exuberant vegetation will make you dizzy, and later on the sunset will enchant you. Playa Blanca, with its calm sea, is perfect for a family vacation but surfers will find much joy there too, as big breaks can reach as much as twice over head. Real estate in Playa Blanca is not so well known yet and now is the time to discover it and see it at its best!
